Prices are in NZ Dollars and are on a per person basis, based on ground costs, airfares, exchange rates and assumptions made at the time of releasing the package. WTG reserves the right to amend our package price without notice at any time up to date of departure. Price variations may occur for reasons beyond our control including but not limited to; adverse currency fluctuations, taxes and airfare increases, increase in ground operator service fees, and fuel surcharges. For contractual reasons pricing cannot be itemised out.
All cancellations must be advised in writing. Cancellations received after booking are non-refundable. WTG will use its best endeavours to on sell your package (in full, or part thereof) in an attempt to recover some monies for you, but it depends on our ability to re-sell your place and the attitude and conditions of airlines, hotels, land operators and match ticket rules. Please read the information on “Insurance”. Any refunds able to be made will be subject to a fee of not less than $500 per person. We recommend an Allianz Travel Insurance Policy is taken out when paying non-refundable deposits. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Whilst every endeavour has been made to ensure that the specified tour itinerary is accurate, we reserve the right to alter portions of this should arrangements no longer be available. In the event of any alterations you will be advised well in advance and kept updated accordingly.
The services that WTG provide consist of arranging & coordinating travel and accommodation, making bookings, and issuing appropriate tickets and vouchers.
WST is instrumental in the direct contractual relationship between you, the customer, and the “principal” (i.e. airlines, other transport operators, accommodation suppliers, event managers and other suppliers). We undertake to perform our services with reasonable skill and care and, where applicable, in compliance with our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (which applies to services supplied by us except where they are, or held out as being, acquired for business purposes). We will not be held liable for any loss, damage or claim arising from acts or defaults outside the control of WWT, its employees or agents, including (but not limited to) the acts or defaults of actual travel, accommodation and netball ticket suppliers.
As airlines reserve the right to alter schedules, WTG cannot be held responsible when confirmed flights are subsequently changed. Once issued, airline tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Upgrades are available at the extra costs stated – subject to availability in that booking class. If upgrades at that price are not available, they may be offered at a different price in a different booking class. International airfare prices are generally “common-rated” from Auckland, Wellington & Christchurch. Special add-on fares are available from other centres. Please contact us if you require assistance in this regard.
For Premium Economy/Business Class upgrades, these bookings will be subject to availability. Please indicate your request and we will discuss your requirements and the options available.
FUEL SURCHARGES, AIRLINE & INSURANCE LEVIES
Airline fuel surcharges are INCLUDED in the tour price, however are subject to change. Airport and other airline taxes are shown as an ADDITIONAL cost. These are also subject to change without notice. Please check with us if you are unsure.
PASSPORT & VISA REQUIREMENTS
You will need a current passport to travel to any other country. We recommend having at least 6 months validity beyond your return date to New Zealand. NZ passport holders do not require a visa to enter most foreign countries. If you have a passport from another country, have a previous criminal conviction, or a contagious disease, a visa may be required. It is your responsibility to secure any visas well before your date of travel. If you are in any doubt or require assistance, please contact WST. Our staff will be pleased to assist in confidence. A re-entry visa will be required by travellers leaving NZ holding a foreign passport. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct documentation in place to allow your return to NZ.
You declare and warrant that you are in good health and mental and physical fitness at the time of booking this package. Immediately upon any adverse changes in your health or fitness that may be likely to affect you participation in the tour, you will notify WST in writing of any such change.
SAFETY, VACCINATIONS & HEALTH
If you are planning to travel overseas, checklists and travel health and safety tips can help you prepare. You can also register with the NZ Governments Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade if you are visiting overseas, so that you can be contacted in an emergency. If you are concerned about security or travel risks in the countries you intend to visit, you can read the latest travel advisory updates from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (www.travelsafe.org.nz).
We strongly recommend a travel insurance policy as soon as you have paid your initial deposits. Our travel insurance provider is Allianz Global Assistance – part of the international Allianz Global Assistance Group. Our Allianz Travel Insurance policy can cover you for loss of deposits in cases of “unforeseen circumstances”. This policy also offers comprehensive cover for medical treatment, travel delay, loss of cash and personal belongings.
Please be aware that travel insurance offered by credit card companies does not always match the level of cover offered by our preferred policy. In particular, check the medical cover and the emergency assistance offered. Please ask for a copy of our Allianz Insurance policy so that you can compare the cover with other policies offered.
TWIN SHARING & BEDDING CONFIGURATION
If you are travelling alone on one of our group tours, but wish to share a room with someone else, please let us know. If you are travelling alone or with a friend, but wish to share a twin room, please indicate this on the registration form. Our experience on recent tours is that room sharing arrangements do not always work out for people who are complete strangers to each other. The trend is for singles to take the single room option and pay the single room supplement. If, however, you still wish to be matched up with someone, we will do all possible to find a suitable roommate for you. If a suitable match cannot be found, then the single room supplement will have to apply. If room sharing arrangements do not work out to your satisfaction, or either party decides to request a single room during the tour, it will be at your cost and will need to be settled with the hotel concerned directly (assuming the hotel have a room available).
Please note in some European hotels, the majority of rooms are configured in twin beds, in what is termed “Italian style”. That means 2 single beds close to each other that can be made up as singles or as one double. There are some true double beds available, however these are on a request-only basis. Please apply for a double bed, however we are unable to guarantee doubles to you. We will do all we can to secure your preferred bedding request.
Each and every amendment made to a booking will incur an amendment fee of $100 per amendment per person, along with any fees charged by airlines and/or other suppliers. Amendments to bookings within a week of departure will not be guaranteed, but if they are possible, will incur an amendment fee of $250 per amendment per person in addition to any applicable airline reissue/amendment fees.
ITEMS NOT COVERED
Unless otherwise specified, the costs of credit card merchant fees, meals, drinks, laundry, porterage, passports, visas, entry & departure taxes, tips & gratuities and items of a personal nature are not included in our package pricing.
Prices and arrangements have been made on the basis of a minimum of forty (40) persons travelling together on each departure. If there is fewer than this number, the tour(s) may have to be recosted, or cancelled and an alternative option offered.
All our tour arrangements have been priced on a group basis. We are more than happy to arrange individual (Free Wheeler) itineraries upon request. We can tailor an itinerary to meet your needs. Departing from New Zealand earlier or later, or extend your stay – one of our consultants will be pleased to help. However, please be aware that if you book as an individual (Free Wheeler), our group arrangements, inclusions and services, staff and tour leaders will not be available to you while on tour because of their commitment to the group tour. Also, negotiated event fares & rates may not apply to individual itineraries.
Please note WTG cannot be held responsible where event seating positions and perceived quality does not meet your personal expectations. WTG is not permitted to sell event tickets on their own. Event tickets on their own or part of a package cannot be resold at a premium, resold through a broker or agent, advertised or offered for resale on the internet. They cannot be used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (prizes, competitions, trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services.
Where applicable, all garments are made to order and it may not be possible to exchange items at a later date. If, due to your personal sizing limitations, tour gear and/or sizing and/or styles do not meet your personal expectations, WTG cannot be held responsible. We will contact you after booking to confirm the garments for the tour and seek your sizing information.
Bonds or credit card imprints may be required by accommodation suppliers, where they provide telephone, mini-bar, in-room movies, laundry or other facilities and services that can be charged to guest rooms. These are usually requested by the hotel at the time of check-in.
Travel documents will be distributed approximately 7-10 days prior to your departure date from New Zealand. In the event you are leaving NZ prior to this time, please advise us to ensure delivery arrangements can be adjusted. It is important that you check all of the documentation handed or sent to you in relation to your proposed travel and accommodation, to ensure it fully meets your requirements and there have been no misunderstandings. WTG will not accept responsibility for any documents subsequently altered without our consent.
If by means of any event of force majeure (including terrorism, pandemic or any cause or event outside our control) we shall be delayed in or prevented from performing our obligations, then such delay or non-performance shall not be deemed a breach or entitle a damages claim. Our obligations shall be suspended whilst such event of force majeure continues.
