2017 HSBC Sydney 7s
Fancy a long weekend away with rugby, sunshine, shopping and the most famous harbour on Earth? Why not grab your mates and show some fierce Kiwi support as our team look to go back-to-back after a solid win at last year's Sydney 7s. With Waitangi Day falling on Monday 6 February, you can really make the most of a long summer weekend in Australia's Harbour City.
The carnival that will be the HSBC Sydney 7s will have an international flavour as Australians will flock to Sydney from over all the country, as well as visitors from rugby-mad countries such as New Zealand, Fiji, England, Samoa and South Africa.
Tickets:We have access to both General Admission tickets and Premium Reserved seating to both days of Sevens action. You can refer to the stadium map at the foot of this page to find out exact category positions.
Accommodation:Holiday Inn Potts Point is a good 3-4 star option, well located to access the stadium, but also close enough to the Sydney CBD to get your shopping fix, if you wish. (Note that breakfast is not included in our package costs, but can be added as an additional cost as required. Please make contact with one of our Sports Travel Specialists once you have made your booking to organise this.)
Travel:We have Qantas airfares ex Auckland included in our package. If your dates or needs aren't quite met with these options, we can happily tailor flights to your requirements.
Destination:Sydney is a vibrant, dynamic and accessible city waiting to be explored. With its famous Bondi Beach, an array of bars and extensive shopping, including the Rocks Markets, Sydney is a city not to be missed. Combine this with the HSBC Sydney Rugby Sevens atmosphere and your stay in Sydney will no doubt be a memorable one.
