This option is available to independent travellers who are resident in New Zealand and who want to do their own thing in England, France and Wales but who need to access good quality match tickets with New Zealand Supporters. The Free Wheeler option includes return economy flights from NZ to London, three nights share twin/double accommodation in central London, access to Test Match Tickets to the Twickenham Test, three nights share twin/double hotel accommodation in Lyon, access to Test Match Tickets to the first Test against France, three nights share twin/double accommodation in Paris and access to Test Match Tickets to the second Test against France, three nights share twin/double accommodation in Cardiff and access to Test Match Tickets to the Test against Wales. The accommodation we have is in central three star tourist-style hotels. We are familiar with these properties and have found them to be very acceptable for this type of package in the past. If you require a higher grade of hotel we can provide this at an extra cost.
If required, we can arrange additional hotel accommodation, flights, car rental, train passes, a coach tour before, between or after the matches, or any other travel requirements you may have. We can recommend vacation rental accommodation throughout the UK and France or elsewhere. We have access to a wide range of gites, villas and farm cottages in Europe.
For this option we are recommending flights on Air New Zealand departing from NZ on Wednesday 1st of November, returning from London on Sunday 26th of November. However, you can nominate your own dates and flight routing and we can advise any difference in costs. To up-grade this option to Business Class allow an additional $5,730 per person (subject to availability).
Free Wheeler travellers should note that it will not be possible to be involved with any of the inclusions of our Supporters Tour Groups during this tour by the All Blacks. Nor have we included any ‘on-the-ground’ services from our Tour Leaders or Staff for Free Wheeler clients. In other words, once you depart New Zealand, you are free and independent of our Tour Group services and inclusions. However, our staff on tour will be only too pleased to assist you during the tour in the event of an emergency.
Depart Auckland on Air New Zealand service to London Heathrow. Domestic connections from Christchurch and Wellington are included and special add-on fares are available from other centres. You can choose flights on other airlines or on an earlier date if you wish, subject to airfares and conditions being the same – or a supplementary fare being paid.
Arrive at London Heathrow this morning and make your own way into the central city where we have you booked for a three-night
stay. We recommend the Heathrow Express Train that takes you into Paddington Station in central London in 20-minutes. The fare is £12.

Today is Armistace Day, when France and her allies commemorate the tragic loss of life in World War I. It was at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 that the Great War ended. The All Blacks Team will participate in wreath-laying ceremony at 11am this morning in central Lyon. This evening attend the first Test Match against France. The venue is Stade Gerland, which is within easy reach of the town centre by Metro Train, Light-Rail Tram or Bus or by foot (approx 45-minute walk).
