2010 Interdominion Pacing Championships

Join Reon & Pam Murtha on the 2010 Watpac Interdominion Tour. This year we have put together 2 packages offering you the full 19 day tour or an 11 day option. Either way, it's going to be filled with fun and a few laughs enjoying Sydney, the Hunter Valley and the NSW Harness Racing meetings.

19 Day Tour Inclusions

• Return economy class airfares on Air New Zealand to Sydney
• Airport departure and security taxes (subject to change until ticketed)
• Coach transfers
• 16 nights accommodation at Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments Sydney (room only)
• Entrance tickets to all 3 of the Watpac 2010 Interdominion Race nights
• Entrance tickets to additional races as noted
• 2 nights at the Leisure Inn Pokolbin Hill, Hunter Valley (Studio - room only)
• Services of Reon & Pam Murtha, hosts throughout (subject to a minimum of 25 paying passengers)

19 Day Tour Itinerary

• Thursday 18 February
  Depart Christchurch at 3:45pm (NZ time) and arrive in Sydney at 5:15pm (Sydney time).
• Friday 19 February
  See the first round Heats at Harold Park.
• Saturday 20 February
  The day today is yours to explore Sydney. Gather together in the evening to see the Bulli Night Trots.
• Sunday 21 February
  Today is a free day for you to do as you please around Sydney (optional sightseeing excursions may be arranged)
• Monday 22 February
  Today is another free morning, with the Bankstown Night Trots happening in the evening.
• Tuesday 23 February
  Watch the Menangle Trots during the day and spend the evening at your leisure.
• Wednesday 24 February
  Today is a free day for you to do as you please around Sydney (optional sightseeing excursions may be arranged)
• Thursday 25 February
  A full day tour from Katoomba to the Blue Mountains, with stops at the Penrith RSL and the Penrith Trotting meeting
• Friday 26 February
  The day is at your leisure, and in the evening see night trotting at Harold Park. Today, the 11 day tour group will join you.
• Saturday 27 February
  Enjoy the second round of heats today at the Newcastle Paceway.
• Sunday 28 February
  Today, enjoy a day tour of the Port Stephens area.
• Monday 1 March
  Today, take a coach to the Hunter Valley for a 2 night stay.
• Tuesday 2 March
  Spend today in the Hunter Valley, sightseeing and enjoying all the Valley has to offer.
• Wednesday 3 March
  Take a coach today back from the Hunter Valley to Sydney, in time for the trotting tomorrow.
• Thursday 4 March
  After a relaxing day to yourself, enjoy the Penrith Night Trots in the evening.
• Friday 5 March
  After another relaxing day, enjoy night trotting at Harold Park.
• Saturday 6 March
  Today is another free day before the Interdominion Finals (optional sightseeing excursions may be arranged)
• Sunday 7 March
  Today, enjoy the third and final day of Interdominion racing at Tabcorp Park.
• Monday 8 March
  Depart Sydney at 9:50am (Sydney time) and arrive back in Christchurch at 2:55pm (NZ time).
