Williment Travel Group (WTG) is an established New Zealand travel management business that specialises in the provision of travel solutions for inbound and outbound groups and tours, incentive and reward programs and corporate travel. WTG was incorporated in 1967 by the late Mick Williment (a former All Black, 1964 - 1967). Mick established a business arranging tours for sports teams, clubs and supporters.

Junior Travel Consultant – Corporate Travel

We are looking for a Junior Corporate Travel Consultant to join our BCD Travel Team, in our Wellington Office.
Candidates are expected to possess:
- A minimum 12 months Domestic Consultancy experience
- Competency with Galileo and CCT or other GDS software systems
- Competency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer service experience, organisational and time management skills
- Awareness and understanding of the features and benefits of the various products sold in a corporate travel environment
- Genuine desire to develop and progress in a career in Corporate Travel

Leisure Travel Coordinator - Williment Event Management
Williment Event Management (WEM) operate as a team within the greater WTG family, and provide group travel to New Zealand clients, travelling overseas for short (3 - 7 night) stays. The clients who attend these events will often extend their journey and book leisure travel, which is the role and responsibility of the leisure consultant(s) within the team. The leisure consultant will be called upon to assist with the group booking transactions during 'peak times' and potentially will work towards joining the Event Co-ordinators managing groups.
We are looking for a Leisure Travel Coordinator to join our Event Management Team, in our Wellington Office.
Main responsibilities include:
- Quote, sell & transact domestic, short haul, pacific and (some) long haul airline, accommodation, rental car, train, ferry, coach and insurance bookings
- Attend product seminars
- Match suited product at the most logical price for each of the individual customer requirements
Candidates are expected to possess:
- An honest passion for travel
- A genuine desire in servicing customer needs to an exceptional standard
- MS Office, preferably Office 2007 (these skills may be tested), including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Good level of competency with GDS, preferably Galileo but conversion courses available
- A confident, calm, effective communicator both written & verbally
- Highly organised
- Desire to learn & develop industry and destinational knowledge base
- An understanding of the travel industry in New Zealand and the Pacific.
